3:1 Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but it is for your safety.
3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilators.
3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh.
3:4 Even though I have confidence in flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence and might trust in flesh, I more:
3:5 circumcised the eighth day, out of the stock of Israel, the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; as concerning the Law, a Pharisee;
3:6 concerning zeal, persecuting the Assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the Law, blameless.
3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I count as loss for Christ.
3:8 Yes doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for who I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
3:9 And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the Law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which comes from God by faith:
3:10 that I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death;
3:11 if by any means I might attain to the out-resurrection, out from the dead.
3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already complete: but I ensue after, moreover, that I also may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which are before,
3:14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the on-high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
3:15 Let us therefore, as many as are mature, have this mindset: and if in anything you are otherwise minded, God will reveal that also to you.
3:16 However, into that which we have already attained, let us walk by the same standard, let us have the same mindset.
3:17 Brothers, be joint-followers of me, and pay attention to those who walk about, you have a pattern in us.
3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
3:19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetites, and whose glory is in their shame, having an earthly mindset.
3:20 For we have our citizenship in the heavens; from where also we eagerly expect the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
3:21 who will change our body of humiliation, that it may be like His body of glory, in accordance with the energy where He has the possibility to even place the whole under Himself.
