Matt. 24:1 Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple.
Matt. 24:2 And Jesus said to them, do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.
Matt. 24:3 And as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your Presence, and of the completion of the Old Covenant Age?
Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them, take heed that no man deceives you.
Matt. 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and will deceive many.
Matt. 24:6 And you are about to hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the completion is not yet.
Matt. 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in different places.
Matt. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matt. 24:9 Then will they deliver you up to be persecuted and will kill you: and you will be hated of all nations for My name’s sake.
Matt. 24:10 And then will many be offended, and will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Matt. 24:11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many.
Matt. 24:12 And because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
Matt. 24:13 But he that is enduring into the completion, the same will be saved.
Matt. 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the entire Roman world for a witness to all nations; and then the completion will come.
Matt. 24:15 Therefore when you will see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand),
Matt. 24:16 then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains:
Matt. 24:17 let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house:
Matt. 24:18 neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Matt. 24:19 And woe to them that are pregnant, and to them that nurse in those days!
Matt. 24:20 But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
Matt. 24:21 for then there will be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever will be.
Matt. 24:22 And unless those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
Matt. 24:23 Then if any man will say to you, look, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Matt. 24:24 For there will arise false Christs, and false prophets, and will show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they will deceive the very elect.
Matt. 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
Matt. 24:26 Therefore if they will say to you, behold, he is in the desert; do not go out: behold, he is in the secret chambers; do not believe it.
Matt. 24:27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so also will the Presence of the Son of man be.
Matt. 24:28 For wherever the dead body is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
Matt. 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not reflect her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken:
Matt. 24:30 and then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then will all the tribes of the land mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming in the cloud of heaven with power and great glory.
Matt. 24:31 And He will send His messengers with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one extreme of heaven to the other extremity.
Matt. 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is close:
Matt. 24:33 so likewise you, when you will see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Matt. 24:34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen!
Matt. 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
Matt. 24:36 But of that day and hour no man knows, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
Matt. 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will be the Presence of the Son of man.
Matt. 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Matt. 24:39 and did not know until the flood came, and took them all away; likewise, will be the Presence of the Son of man.
Matt. 24:40 Then two will be in the field; the one will be taken, and the other let go.
Matt. 24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; the one will be taken, and the other let go.
Matt. 24:42 Therefore wat24: for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
Matt. 24:43 But know this that if the master of the house had known in what watch shift the thief is coming, he would watch, and would not permit his house to be dug through.
Matt. 24:44 Therefore you be ready also: for in such an hour as you do not think, the Son of man comes.
Matt. 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise slave, whom his lord has constituted over his household, to give them food in due season?
Matt. 24:46 Blessed is that slave, whom his lord finds doing when he comes.
Matt. 24:47 Truly I say to you, that he will constitute him over all his possessions.
Matt. 24:48 But if that evil slave will say in his heart, my lord delays his coming;
Matt. 24:49 and will begin to strike his fellow slaves, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
Matt. 24:50 the lord of that slave will come in a day when he does not look for him, and in an hour that he is not expecting,
Matt. 24:51 and will cut him in pieces, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
