Hebrews Chapter 10

Heb. 10:1 For the Law having a shadow of good things about to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers complete.

Heb. 10:2 For then they would not have ceased to be offered? They would no longer have sins on their conscience.

Heb. 10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins every year.

Heb. 10:4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and of goats should remove sins.

Heb. 10:5 Therefore when He came into the world, He said, sacrifice and offering You do not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me:

Heb. 10:6 in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You are not well pleased.

Heb. 10:7 Then I said, behold, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God.

Heb. 10:8 Above when He said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin You do not desire, neither are well pleased; by what is offered by the Law;

Heb. 10:9 then I said, behold, I come to do Your will, O God. He is removing the first, that He may establish the second.

Heb. 10:10 By this one will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Heb. 10:11 For every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

Heb. 10:12 but this One, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for perpetuity, sat down in the right hand of God;

Heb. 10:13 from now on expecting until His enemies are put under His feet.

Heb. 10:14 For by one offering He has completed into perpetuity those that are sanctified.

Heb. 10:15 Of whom the Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after that He had said before,

Heb. 10:16 this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Heb. 10:17 and their sins and lawlessnesses I will remember no more.

Heb. 10:18 Now where forgiveness of these is, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Heb. 10:19 Therefore brothers, having boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus,

Heb. 10:20 by a freshly slain and living way, which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;

Heb. 10:21 and having a great priest over the house of God;

Heb. 10:22 let us advance with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Heb. 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised

Heb. 10:24 and let us perceive one another clearly to stimulate to love and to good works:

Heb. 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the usual practice of some; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as you see that Day coming near.

Heb. 10:26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the reality, there are no longer sacrifices for sins left,

Heb. 10:27 but a certain terrible expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, which is about to devour the adversaries.

Heb. 10:28 He that rejected Moses’ Law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Heb. 10:29 of how much worse vengeance, do you think, will he be counted deserving, who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Heb. 10:30 For we know Him who has said, vengeance belongs to Me, I will pay back, says the Lord. And again, the Lord will judge His people.

Heb. 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

Heb. 10:32 But remember the former days in which, after you were elucidated, you endured a great conflict of sufferings;

Heb. 10:33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by insults and afflictions; and partly, while you became companions of them that were so treated.

Heb. 10:34 For you had compassion for me in my chains, and accepted joyfully the plundering of your possessions, knowing in yourselves that you have a better possession and one that is abiding.

Heb. 10:35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

Heb. 10:36 For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of God, you acquire the promise.

Heb. 10:37 For yet a little while, and He that will come, will come, and He will not delay.

Heb. 10:38 Now the just will live by faith: but if anyone withdraws, My soul will not be well pleasing in him. 39 But we are not of those who are shrinking back into perdition; but of those who are believing into taking possession of the soul.
