1st Tim. 6:1 Let all that are slaves under the yoke, to esteem their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and His teaching is not blasphemed.
1st Tim. 6:2 And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brothers; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
1st Tim. 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the teaching which is according to godliness;
1st Tim. 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but obsessed about disputes and strife of words, of which comes envy, slanders, strife, evil suspicions,
1st Tim. 6:5 useless arguments of men with corrupt minds, and destitute of the reality, supposing that godliness is a means of gain: from such remove yourselves.
1st Tim. 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1st Tim. 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1st Tim. 6:8 And having food and clothing let us be therefore content.
1st Tim. 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
1st Tim. 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1st Tim. 6:11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1st Tim. 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on infinite life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1st Tim. 6:13 I give you charge in the sight of God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1st Tim. 6:14 that you keep this commandment unblemished and irreprehensible, until the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ:
1st Tim. 6:15 which in His own time He will exhibit, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of the ones reigning, and Lord of the ones exercising authority;
1st Tim. 6:16 who alone possesses immortality, making their home in light inaccessible; whom no man perceived, nor are even able to be perceiving: to whom be honor and power infinitely! Amen!
1st Tim. 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this present age, that they be not conceited, nor trust in uncertain wealth, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy;
1st Tim. 6:18 that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to share;
1st Tim. 6:19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time about to come, that they may lay hold of infinite life.
1st Tim. 6:20 O Timothy, guard the entrusted deposit, turn away from profane and empty speaking, and contrary positions of pseudo knowledge.
1st Tim. 6:21 Which some publicly declaring have missed the goal regarding the faith. Grace be with you. Amen.
