Chapter 6

1st Cor.6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

1st Cor.6:2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1st Cor.6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more things that pertain to this life?

1st Cor.6:4 If then you have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the Assembly.

1st Cor.6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? No, not one that will be able to judge between his brothers.

1st Cor.6:6 But brother goes to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.

1st Cor.6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather permit yourselves to be defrauded?

1st Cor.6:8 No, you do wrong, and defraud, and that your brothers.

1st Cor.6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

1st Cor.6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, will inherit the kingdom of God.

1st Cor.6:11 Such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1st Cor.6:12 All things are lawful to me, but all things are not helpful: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1st Cor.6:13 Foods for the stomach, and the stomach for foods: but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

1st Cor.6:14 And God has both raised up the Lord and will also raise up us by His own power.

1st Cor.6:15 Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? Will I then take the members of the Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbids!

1st Cor.6:16 What? Do you not know that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? For two, says He, will be one flesh.

1st Cor.6:17 But he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

1st Cor.6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

1st Cor.6:19 What? Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?

1st Cor.6:20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
